But for products that are undergoing waterproof testing for the first time or users who are new to air tightness testers.We need to set the test pressure and test parameters according to the customer's product and the IP level that needs to be tested.For example, if a customer needs to perform an IPX7 waterproof test on a positioner, what test pressure should be used.The so-called IPX7 rating means that if the product is placed in one meter of water and soaked for 30 minutes, the product can be used normally without being affected.The pressure of 1 meter of water depth is equivalent to 10.5KPA. At this time, the test pressure we will set for the customer is 10.5KPA; if the customer requires IPX8 waterproof level, then the test pressure must be set higher than 10.5KPA based on the pressure that the product can withstand.The test pressure range of the Hirays air tightness detector is -90~1500KPA. According to different test pressures, the instruments are divided into low-pressure instruments, general-purpose instruments and high-pressure instruments. The lower the test pressure, the higher the accuracy.When the pressure is between -60~150kpa, the maximum effective resolution can be better than 1pa.

After determining the test pressure, we need to set the test parameters for the test product.The Hirays Air Tightness Tester contains many test parameters, but there are two main data to determine whether a product is qualified: one is the lower air intake limit (the minimum test pressure that the test product needs to reach), and the other is the upper leakage limit (the maximum leakage allowed by the test product).When setting the lower air intake limit, you need to conduct multiple tests based on the customer's product.Detect the lowest pressure that all qualified products can reach, detect the maximum pressure that all unqualified products can reach, and find the most accurate pressure value to set as the lower air intake limit.For example, the test pressure we use is 10.5kpa. However, although there are many products that cannot reach 10.5kpa and can only reach 10.1kpa, they are still judged as qualified products according to the qualification standards of our products.We need to set the lower air intake limit to the minimum air intake that qualified products can achieve, and conduct more precise experimental tests.

When setting the upper limit of leakage, it is necessary to conduct multiple tests based on the customer's products to detect the maximum leakage value of all qualified products.For example, some products have a leakage value of 0.05kpa, but they are still qualified products. We need to set the leakage upper limit a little larger than 0.05kpa.The so-called leakage upper limit is the maximum leakage value allowed for the product. If the leakage upper limit is exceeded, the air tightness detector automatically determines that the product is unqualified.
