For the flow type air leak detector, its working principle is as follows:

The flow test generally tests a leaky product, which means that the product is allowed to leak a certain amount; the air source always maintains a constant supply of air at a certain pressure to ensure that the pressure on the left side of the test product remains unchanged. The product has leaks, so under the action of pressure, the product keeps leaking because the air source is always supplying air.The air source replenishes gas to the inside of the product (the leakage speed of the product is less than the air supply speed of the air source). If the pressure remains unchanged, the air supply speed from this air source to the inside of the product will not change. This air supply speed is the flow rate. The larger the leak hole in the product, the faster it leaks, and the air source will supply air to the inside of the product faster, so the flow rate becomes larger.If the leakage hole of the product is blocked, the product will not leak. The internal pressure of the product will remain unchanged, and the air source will not inflate the interior of the product. At this time, the flow rate will be zero.Therefore, flow testing is generally applicable under working conditions where the product allows certain leakage.

The test results of the air flow leak detector have nothing to do with the shape and volume of the workpiece being tested. It directly detects the actual air flow of the tested channel.The test parameters of the Hirays air flow leak detector are shown in the figure below:
