Air tightness testing of new energy vehicle motor water channels
New energy automobiles use variable speed motors to realize the transmission. The motor casing is equipped with a cooling water channel. In order to ensure the complete sealing of the water channel and prevent water from leaking and damaging the electrical components of the motor, many manufacturers have adopted the universal air tightness detector produced by Hirays Technology., the test pressure of the motor housing water channel is 250kPa (or 2.5bar), and the water leakage is no leakage for 5 minutes. The indicator tested by the air tightness detector is 250kPa, inflating for 20S, balancing for 40S, and the leakage value ≦3Pa/s is qualified.This is also the motor housing air tightness testing standard adopted by BYD and other automotive industries.
