3. Testing principle of air tightness tester

Use compressed air of a certain pressure and a certain volume to inflate the product. If the product has an inflation hole, air is directly supplied to the product's inflation hole. After charging for a certain period of time, the air supply source is cut off, and the pressure sensor inside the air tightness testing instrument is used to monitor the pressure change after the product is inflated to determine the sealing performance of the product; products such asIf there is no inflation hole, you need to design a test mold to wrap the product to simulate the use environment of the product, then quantitatively inflate the surface of the product through the mold, cut off the air source, and use the pressure sensor built in the air tightness test instrument to monitor the pressure changes after the product is inflated. 4. The process and method of using air tightness testing seals.

First determine the test standard. Generally, the sailboat battery test uses the IP protection level test standard. Some use IP67 protection level, and some use IP68 protection level. For example, the test air pressure of the IP67 test standard is about 10kpa.First determine the test pressure and protection level requirements.Design a mold according to the product shape. The mold is divided into upper and lower molds. Usually, an automatic tooling is made to control the opening and closing of the upper and lower molds.Put the product into the mold, start the sealing tester, the tooling will merge the mold, and then the instrument will inflate the mold quantitatively and at constant pressure.The precision seal detector begins to detect and analyze the test data.Once the leakage rate of the product is obtained, the sealing performance of the product can be determined based on the leakage rate.
