ABL outdoor wall lights are usually installed on outdoor walls, and some products can also be installed on outdoor lamppost walls.Compared with indoor wall lamps, outdoor wall lamps have better waterproof performance and are mostly closed structures. This can prevent outdoor rainwater from corroding the lamps and extend the service life of the lamps.Outdoor wall lights generally have the following advantages: novel design, elegant and unique, soft light, generous and practical, easy to install, and highly decorative. For urban green lighting, creating high-quality civilized residential areas, and improving the lighting culture of the living environment, outdoor wall lamps are undoubtedly indispensable and ideal lamps.

Wall lights installed outdoors must be waterproof. If the wall lamp used outdoors is not waterproof, water will easily enter the wall lamp in rainy weather, causing damage to the internal circuit of the wall lamp. Therefore, for wall lamps used outdoors, manufacturers need to conduct IP67 waterproof testing (or so-calledTightness test)

For wall lamps for outdoor use, the waterproof level generally needs to reach IP67 or IP68. This time, following the requirements of wall lamp customers, the waterproof level that the product needs to reach is IP67 standard.IP67 means that if the product is placed under 1 meter of water and soaked for 30 minutes, water will not enter the product. For IP67 grade products, we generally use a pressure of 10KPA for testing.

The product in the picture above is a wall lamp that we want to test for sealing. The appearance of the wall lamp is an iron shell. There are some small holes on the top of the wall lamp. The customer needs to test the overall waterproof performance of the wall lamp.We can inflate the product through the hole on the wall lamp for direct testing.
Generally speaking, the testing methods of Hirays air tightness detector are divided into direct testing and indirect testing. For test products with inflation ports or semi-finished products, we generally use direct inflation for testing. For products and finished products without inflation ports, we generally use indirect testing. The so-called indirect testing is to design a mold to wrap the product, and then quantitatively inflate the product surface through the mold, cut off the air source, and use the pressure sensor inside the instrument to monitor the pressure changes after the product is inflated.
If the air pressure filled into the product drops quickly, it means that the product has a large leak. If the air pressure filled into the product is relatively stable, it means the product has good sealing. The maximum air pressure leakage of the product is within the range within which it is qualified. We need to judge based on many experiments. We set the maximum allowable leakage amount into the test system of the air tightness detector. During the test process, once the leakage value of the product exceeds the maximum value we set, the detector will judge the product to be unqualified.
