1. Wire sealing process

The sealing and waterproofing process of wires generally uses sealing rings at the joints or overall glue filling, and the entire wire is wrapped with waterproof materials to isolate the intrusion of external substances.When the sealing ring is not installed in place, bubbles appear in the glue, or holes and cracks appear in the external material, it means that the sealing of the wire is not in place.

2. Key points and difficulties in the overall sealing test of wires

1. The diameter and length of the wires are different, so we cannot perform full-contact detection on them, so we need to use indirect detection methods.

2. The wire has strong plasticity and high softness, which increases the difficulty of detection.

3. The wire leakage value is very small and even difficult to monitor.

4. The wire can withstand limited pressure and needs to be set uniformly during testing.

Because the diameter of the wire is too small, it is not suitable for testing using the direct inflation method, so Hairis Technology uses the indirect detection method. We customize a mold for the wire to assist in testing.Compressed air is used as the detection medium, and the mold is directly inflated. Liquid detection is not used to avoid unnecessary contamination of the wire.The mold is divided into an upper mold and a lower mold. After the two are closed, they can provide a sealed testing environment for air tightness testing and facilitate monitoring of the air pressure inside the mold.

After starting the test, the precision pressure sensor of the air tightness testing equipment starts to work, strictly monitors the air pressure changes in the mold, controls the detection air pressure within a certain range, and completes the test under the pressure that the wire can withstand.Finally, after a series of calculations, the gas leakage value can be obtained, and the air tightness and IP waterproof level of the wire can be detected based on the leakage value.The following is a display of detection details.
