1. Difficulties in detecting automobile controllers

1. The shape of the car controller tested this time is irregular. In order to ensure normal use, the shape is designed to be circular and protruding upward, with a hollow protrusion in the middle for easy connection;

2. There is a trapezoidal groove at the bottom of the controller. This shape is not good for detection and can easily cause deviation in detection results due to air leakage.

Faced with this situation, Hirays Technology specially used a special mold. There is an air outlet in the middle of the mold that connects to the instrument duct. The car controller is stuck into the mold. When the test starts, the upper and lower molds will be closed to form a closed test space. There is an inflation port connected to the instrument duct at the bottom of the mold. During the test, gas is directly filled into the inside of the product, which is conducive to direct detection.

At this time, after the tooling connected to the mold is started, a certain volume of gas is injected into the car controller through the air source. When the detected air pressure is reached, the air supply is automatically cut off and the system enters the pressure stabilization stage. The air tightness detection system of Hirays Technology will monitor the air pressure in the mold and determine the tightness based on the amount of leakage.

During the test, the inflation port at the bottom of the mold is connected to the conduit, and the air is inflated into the car controller. If the car controller is not sealed and air leakage occurs, the leakage value displayed in the instrument will become larger and larger, and the pressure value will decrease at the same time.At this time, it can be determined whether the car controller is leaking, and the instrument test result will also show NG, which means the air tightness test failed.If the tested car controller does not leak, the gas in the tooling mold will be in a constant state after inflation. The pressure value and leakage value displayed on the instrument are also stable. The instrument test result will display OK, indicating that the air tightness test has passed.
