1. Display of air tightness testing requirements for fans

The shape of the fan is relatively special, and the entire body is cast with a highly waterproof shell material.The rear end is a rotary valve used to connect the rotating fan, while the front end serves as an interface to connect to other components and has a special hollow.

Two points need to be overcome for air tightness testing of fans: the non-destructiveness of the testing to the product and the accuracy of the results.Because the overall shape of this fan is relatively special, it is difficult to fix it during inspection. A special mold needs to be used to fix it, and an indirect inspection method is adopted.

2. Demonstration of the air tightness testing process of the fan

This inspection of the fan needs to be carried out in two parts. One part is the flow inspection of the rotary valve, and the other part of the inspection is the air tightness inspection of the overall shell of the fan.

2. Based on the testing requirements, Hairuis Technology has developed a special mold, and the shape of the mold is completely made according to the shape of the fan.Below is a groove where the fan rotary valve can be specifically placed. A rubber ring is attached to the surface of the groove. When placing the fan, the rotary valve can be better stuck inside the groove. The bottom of the groove is integrated with the delivery pipe connected to the detector, which makes detection more convenient. The surface of the fan has a fully formed bulge, and the surface of the other end of the mold has a groove specifically designed for clamping, corresponding to the bulge of the fan.

3. Since this test requires two sets of data, we also added two pressure regulating valves to the detector to debug two different sets of test parts.During detection, the upper mold blocks the entire fan and fixes it to the lower mold. The detector will deliver gas to the rotary valve through the conduit below the mold, and the detection is completed. Switch to another set of detection modes, and the gas channel originally connected to the groove of the rotary valve is closed, and the gas is automatically delivered to the outlet at the other end of the mold to detect the fan as a whole.

4. If the fan is not sealed and air leakage occurs, the leakage value displayed in the instrument will become larger and larger, and the pressure value will decrease at the same time.At this time, it can be determined whether the fan is leaking, and the instrument test result will also show NG, which means the air tightness test failed.If the tested fan does not leak, the gas in the tooling mold will be in a constant state after inflation, and the pressure value and leakage value displayed on the instrument will also be stable. The instrument test result will display OK, indicating that the air tightness test has passed.
