High Voltage Shunt Capacitors

The high voltage shunt capacitor use polypropylene film immersed into the high performance liquid as the insulator and highly pure aluminum foil as the pole. Primarily used for alternating current electronic power system with minimum voltage of 1000V and frequency between 15 Hz and 60 Hz to compensate power, improve the power factor, reduce the circuit exhaust, economy electric power, increase power supply quality. Meets the international standard of IEC 60871-1:1997

Shunt capacitors installed in transmission and distribution networks will increase transmission capability, reduce losses and improve the power factor.
High voltage capacitor banks for any voltage and power rating can be designed by series and parallel connection of capacitor units.
